Westcoast trip part II (Some impressions from a world heritage area)

One of the amazing lonely and crystal clear bays along the Ningaloo Reef (second largest reef system in Australia next to the famous Barrier Reef, also breeding place for some of the whale species in the winter months)



Those are cyanobacterias (one of the oldest living species on our planet), everyone who has read Bill Bryson's downunder knows what I am talking about

They are not just rocks in the water, during high tide you can witness that they are alive as air bubbles are produced.
