Mornington Peninsula

The Mornington Peninsula is about an hours drive from Melbourne City. It has beautiful Ocean and Bay beaches to offer and for all wine lovers it is one of the best wine regions in Australia for Pinot. So all can imagine why Matt loves going there........

a night with Carlo and Natasha

Svenja, Carlo, Natasha and myself posing in Carlo+Natasha`s new courtyard. They had to move house and found this lovely victorian terrace house in Malvern with a big courtyard at the back. So ideal for barbecues.....

After a few warm up drinks we went to Ripples and had according to Matt the best chinese ever. A couple of drinks later thats were it ended......

Melbourne offers plenty of possibilities for dining out and there is a wide range of food, styles and prices to choose from. Carlo and Natasha recommended us a really good and cheap indian restaurant just a couple of meters up the road from our house. Many restaurants in Australia offer the possibility to bring along your own wine. So most of the times the nights at the Indian have a funny ending. So these pictures are just one good example of a blasting night at the Indian. Come and visit us and we will show you........:)

Im Februar beehrte uns meine Schwester Svenja mit einem Besuch. An einem Nachmittag machten wir einen Ausflug ins CBD (central business district), was gleichzeitig auch das Stadtzentrum ist mit Einkaufs- und Ausgangsmöglichkeiten. Melbourne besteht aus mehreren Vierteln und fast jedes Viertel hat Shopping oder diverse Restaurants und Bars zur Ausfall.
Beim Herumspazieren an diesem Nachmittag entdeckten wir die immigration bridge, auf der man zu jedem Land mit Einwanderern in Australien Details findet.
